                               RESOLUTION NO. 19203
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE UTC CAMPUS
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON
                   SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1991 FOR THE "UTC
                   HOMECOMING PARADE AND RELATED EVENTS"
                   SPONSORED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE AT
                   CHATTANOOGA UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound right-hand curb lane of
       Houston Street from Oak Street to Vine Street, the westbound
       traffic lane of Oak Street from Douglas Street to Houston Street, 

       and Vine Street from Houston Street to Douglas Street from 1:00
       P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and the temporary closing of Vine Street from
       Douglas Street to Palmetto Street from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on
       Saturday, October 26, 1991 for the presentation of the "UTC
       Homecoming Parade and Related Events" sponsored by the University 

       of Tennessee at Chattanooga, provided that the sponsors shall set 

       out and pick up all traffic cones, barricades, road closed and
       detour signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached 

       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency vehicles.
